HydraCinema, one of the newest DVS OEM products, has been especially designed for customers who want to develop a cinema player that will play out material as specified by the DCI.
Optimized to work with JPEG2000 compressed material HydraCinema will also handle uncompressed data. On top of decompression, the board also carries out MXF unwrapping, RSA and AES128 decryption, and link encryption. Thus MXF files can be played out in real time without any time consuming pre-processing. Of course, HydraCinema will manage YUV, RGB and X’Y’Z’ color spaces and run all the necessary color space conversions in real time.
Equipped with four HD-SDI links and powerful decompression hardware a single HydraCinema board can play out stereoscopic material in 2K 4:4:4.
Security concerns will be met with an optional watermarking and key handling that fulfils the requirements of the DCI group. |
